Fifteen-year-old Chloe Bates is in love.
A 10th-grader at an all-girls Catholic school, she lights up when she talks about her handsome 17-year-old honey. Chloe doesn't know too many boys, so she still gets a nervous, buzzy feeling whenever she thinks about HIM. Her friends know all about this guy — he's a regular text and telephone topic between school, homework and dance practice.

Chloe keeps a few pictures of him on her bedroom wall, scattered among snapshots of her and her friends. She also writes about him in her journal. But she can't really get close to him. It's like he doesn't know she exists.

'As soon as [Edward is] taken away, it's not 'Twilight' anymore,' Kristen Stewart says. By now, loyal Stephenie Meyer fans feel like they know every nuance of her best-selling vampire series. Every word has been recited like Shakespeare, every moment of passion recounted breathlessly, every pivotal moment re-enacted in countless YouTube videos. But with "New Moon" finally about to hit theaters, the film's stars insist that they still have a few tricks up their sleeves.

"I think it looks completely different [than they'll expect]," Robert Pattinson told us recently, insisting that director Chris Weitz has chosen a color palette (most notable in scenes involving the meadow and the confrontation in Italy) that is far more epic than fans might be used to. "I mean, just the colors and everything. It sounds really technical, but the first one had a kind-of blue tint to everything, which was to emphasize the coldness of Portland and everything.

"The colors in this are much more brown and gray, and it looks warmer than the first one," RPattz added. "I guess it's because of Jacob's introduction; I think that's what the idea was."

"The most shocking thing, for me, is the absence of Edward and the fact that it's still a movie on its own," said Kristen Stewart, explaining that there aren't many film franchises that can essentially tell its lead actor to go on vacation for a whole movie, yet still turn out so well. "I always thought that the only way I could play my part in 'Twilight' was if I was so completely behind Bella's confidence in the fact that she knows [being with Edward] is what she wants. And so, as soon as that's taken away, it's not 'Twilight' anymore.

"It's like, all of a sudden, you think for a minute that there's another story in this world that Stephenie Meyer created, and it's totally with the werewolves, and you totally believe Bella's love for Jacob," Stewart continued. "And then, just as soon as you're convinced of that, Edward gets back in the picture. It's like the most tortured love triangle."

Watching "New Moon," you can't help but feel that it's a wholly new interpretation of the world that Meyer created and Catherine Hardwicke first put on the silver screen a year ago. The cast credits Weitz with shaking things up but keeping the franchise's winning formula intact.

"The shots are a lot smoother," Pattinson said of a key difference that he noticed. "There was something about [Hardwicke's] 'Twilight,' where everything was very handheld and kind of shaky and gritty-looking. This is a lot more about smoothness and elegance."

According to Stewart, Weitz might also surprise the audience with the way he helped the saga's actors take their skills to the next level. "It was really hard to play, and thus hopefully it comes across," Stewart said of the acting in the film, which she has said was some of the toughest she's ever done.

Taylor Lautner has had a hordes of fans ever since he bulked up to keep his Jacob Black role in "The Twilight Saga's New Moon", but the teen actor is not letting the hysteria around him pulling him away from the normal life. In a recent interview with The Boston Globe, he said, "It's important to maintain as much normalcy as possible."

The co-star of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson further elaborated, "Staying true to yourself and spending time with the people you did before, your family and friends." Additionally, the actor did admit that keeping the important stuff is hard. "But sometimes it's hard and you definitely have to make adjustments," he shared. "Absolutely."

Lautner who will be seen starring opposite Taylor Swift in "Valentine's Day" also talked about navigating the real world with his fans hounding his every move. "It all depends where you choose to go. Movie theaters and malls aren't the best places to go. It is [scary]," he said. "But it's great to know you have all those fans and all that support behind you."

"It may [frighten you] at first, but it's their way of expressing their passion for you and the series," the 17-year-old went on explaining what he thought on his fans' determination. "We're definitely thankful to have them behind us. That's our driving force."

As for how truthful "New Moon" will be, he opened up about the character development, "We dont really want much say. We're just trying to live off the books. So it's not like we want to change the characters at all. The fans are passionate about the book and all they want is those words on the pages brought up on the screen for them to watch. We want to stay as close to the books as possible."

"The Twilight Saga's New Moon" follows Bella when she is left abruptly by Edward. Being unguarded from outside threat and devastated following his departure, Bella is comforted by her growing friendship with Jacob. The movie is due to arrive in theaters across United States this Friday, November 20.

‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson was so caught up in the Oscars fever this year that he lost his car, and till now has not been able to locate it.

Pattinson, 23, revealed that it has been a bad year for him where cars are concerned, as after he lost his own car, he crashed the rental that he had picked up.

“I drove to the Oscars in my little old car, which I don’t even know where it is anymore. I lost it!” Contactmusic quoted him as telling Entertainment Weekly magazine.

“I borrowed a fancy car for five days and crashed it,” he said, revealing the crash took place as he was trying to outrun the paparazzi.

“People never followed me when I had my little old BMW,” he added.
